Sheffield: Christ Trinity Church names interim minister


Christ Trinity Church is now served by interim rector/pastor, the Rev. Dr. Randall K. Wilburn.

Christ Episcopal and Trinity Lutheran are partners in the Gospel. They worship together at 8 and 10 a.m. Sundays, and have a common governance.

Wilburn has been in parish ministry for 48 years. He was ordained a Lutheran, with graduate degrees and training from Episcopal, Methodist, Baptist and Congregational, institutions, including Harvard Divinity School.

He received training from the Sisters of Mercy and is a spiritual director. For 16 years, he had a private practice as a marriage and family therapist. For many years he has been a consultant and trainer for congregations, colleges, camps, and service agencies, focused upon strategic planning, conflict management, organizational development, stewardship, and staff development.

Wilburn lives in Belchertown, has been married to Karin for 52 years, has three children, and four grandchildren. His dog, Sadie the Boxer, is with him in Sheffield.
