Sheffield: ‘SBRSD on Parade’ to kick off arts week


The second annual "SBRSD on Parade" highlighting the academic, music, art and cultural programming of the Southern Berkshire Regional School District, will take place Wednesday, May 21, at Mount Everett Regional School.

Kicking off "Arts Week," the week will be filled with various arts displays and musical performances.

The event begins at 4 p.m. with musical entertainment, a free family picnic, and a showcase of classes and programs.

From 6:15 to 6:45 p.m. will be presentations on the SBRSD’s nationally-recognized musical program, championship Robotics Team, and a teaser from the upcoming Stork Club dinner theater presentation.

The Mount Everett spring choral concert at 7 p.m. in the Thomas A. Consolati Performing Arts Center will feature the premier of a work commissioned by the high school chorus from composer Steve Murray.
