Sheffield: Mount Everett students to perform ‘Grease’

"Grease" will be performed Friday, April 4, through Sunday, April 6, at the Thomas A. Consolati Performing Arts Center at Mount Everett High School, 491 Berkshire School Road. The cast and crew feature over 30 students and teachers from the district.

Performances are at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. There will be a brief intermission during which concession items will be available.

Head "greaser" Danny Zuko and new (good) girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the romance of their "Summer Nights" as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as "Greased Lightnin’," "It’s Raining on Prom Night" and "Alone at the Drive-In Movie."

General admission tickets are $9. Tickets for students and seniors are $7.

All ticket sales and proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Southern Berkshire Regional School District’s Arts Programs. Tickets can be purchased at the door before the performance. Information: (413) 229-8754, ext. 127.
