Sheffield: Senior Center to host informational presentations

The Sheffield Senior Center will host informational presentations from 11 a.m. to noon on Fridays in September.

The presentations are open and of interest to seniors, caregivers, family members and/or members of the "sandwich generation" who are caring for loved ones.

On Sept. 14, representatives from Hospice Services of Western Massachusetts will present "Coffee and Chocolates: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly." There will be chocolate sampling and coffee provided.

On Sept. 21, Eve Schatz, esquire, from Free Legal Clinic of South Berkshire County Inc., will present information about the clinic’s services. Schatz’s colleagues will also be available for intakes, assembling basic information, addressing individual issues, and making referrals.

On Sept. 28, Tammy Flynn, community education specialist from The Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine, will share some helpful tips on skin and foot care along with a talk on the technology of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
