Sheffield: Trade show to offer inclusive activities for kids

The Town of Sheffield Commission on Disabilities, in partnership with the Southern Berkshire Regional School District, is presenting a trade show titled "Work, Play, Learn -- Without Limits."

This "one-stop-shop" will showcase vendors that provide activities for kids of all abilities during the summer and throughout the year. The event will be held from 3 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Mount Everett Regional High School.

Kids with and without disabilities, and their parents, will be able to have face-to-face interaction with the presenting vendors.

On the same evening, the Mount Everett Culinary Arts Program will put on a dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. for a small charge, which will be open to the public. For more information, contact Sandi Hubbard, (413) 229-8778, ext. 369, or

The Commission on Disabilities meets at the Senior Center, 25 Cook Road, at 2:45 p.m. on the third Friday of the month. Sheffield residents interested in joining the COD or needing information about services for people with disabilities may contact Laura Grunfeld at (413) 717-0183 or
