Snow to last all day

PITTSFIELD-- More snow is landing in the Berkshires today and is expected to last into the early evening, according to the National Weather Service.

Two to four inches is predicted for the Berkshires region. Much of the snow is expected to fall this afternoon, and should diminish during the early evening, National Weather Service meteorologist Tom Wasula said.

There could be some snow showers or flurries after midnight, Wasula said. Winds will pick up tonight, with gusts up of up to 35 miles per hour. Temperatures will run in the 20's today and are predicted to drop into the teens tonight.

Sunny weather is expected for Sunday, with temperatures forecasted to be frigid in the teens to 20's, Wasula said.
