Stan Lee: Marvel artist meets students
SAVANNAH, Ga. -- A film festival in Georgia is honoring Stan Lee for helping bring superheroes to the big screen, but the Spider-Man co-creator showed he's still got a soft spot for comic books.
Best known as the co-creator many classic Marvel heroes, Lee slipped out during a screening of "The Amazing Spider-Man" at the Savannah Film Festival to visit with a classroom of art students.
Lee told stories of his early days in comics to 11 students at the Savannah College of Art and Design and took time to praise their work.
Lee says that even though Hollywood can now recreate the most epic superhero battles on the big screen, he still sees a bright future for comic books.
