Stephentown, N.Y.: Historical Society to present Native American storytelling

Gil Payette will bring live storytelling in the Native American tradition to the Stephentown Historical Society meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, at the Heritage Center, 4 Staples Road.

Payette will tell two or three stories he has put together from historical facts about Native Americans and their impact on frontier history.

Payette is a performing member of the Story Circle of the Capital District. The program is family oriented, but due to the length of the stories, is best suited to ages 10 and up.

For directions, telephone 518-733-0010.
