Stephentown, N.Y.: Strawberry Festival to benefit Historical Society


The Stephentown Historical Society will hold its 33rd annual Strawberry Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 22, under the tent at The Berry Patch on Route 22.

Locally grown, freshly picked strawberries will be served on sponge cake or home-baked biscuits with whipped cream, or with ice cream for sundaes. Strawberry-rhubarb pie a la mode and whole strawberry-rhubarb pies will also be sold.

The Berry Patch offers jams, jellies, strawberries and a wide array of fruits and vegetables to take home. The Berry Patch is 1.7 miles south of the Stephentown traffic light.

The event is a fundraiser for the Historical Society.
