Stephentown, N.Y.: Talk set on Mohicans of the Berkshires

Rene Wendell will speak on Mohicans of the Berkshires at the Stephentown Historical Society meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, at the Heritage Center on Garfield Road, County Route 26. The program is free and open to the public.

Wendell is conservation ranger for Bartholomew’s Cobble in Sheffield, Mass. His talk covers the history of the Stockbridge Indians; he will also have much of his artifact collection on display. People may bring local Native American artifacts to show if they choose.
