Stockbridge: Berkshire Botanical Garden exhibit to open with cocktail reception

Posted

"Windswept," an exhibit celebrating the beauty of wind and the art that it inspires, will open at the Berkshire Botanical Garden on Friday, June 27, with a cocktail reception from 5 to 7 p.m.

With the help of Natalie and Greg Randall of R.T. Facts in Kent, Conn., the Garden has collected over a dozen pieces that range from early, antique weathervanes to modern kinetic sculptures and includes a little bit of everything in between.

The Garden will display the works of Jim LaPaso, Suzanne Heilmann, Tim Prentice, Jeff Kahn, Richard Griggs, Bill Cummings, and antiques curated by R.T. Facts through Oct. 1.

This exhibit is free with the price of general Garden admission and all of the pieces are available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Garden.

The reception is open to the public and costs $10 to attend. Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance online or by calling (413) 298-3926. Additional information and tickets are available at www.berkshirebotanical.org.
