Stockbridge: BIFF and Heirloom Meals to present screening and dinner
The Berkshire International Film Festival Reel Friends Film Society and Heirloom Meals will present a special screening of Carole Murko’s "Heirloom Meals Christmas Special" followed by a special dinner on Friday, Nov. 30.
The eggnog reception and screening will be held at the Norman Rockwell Museum at 6 p.m. and will feature eggnog, Taza Chocolates, and assorted homemade baked treats.
The dinner at Boulderwood at 8 p.m. will feature wines from Alex Elman, beef bourguignon, sautéed shrimp with rice, Hungarian baked noodles, mashed potatoes, salad, Crochembouche, chocolate pots de créme, and dessert wine. This event is sponsored in part by Taza Chocolate, Pete and Gerry’s and Alex Elman Wines.
The event is open to the public. Tickets are $15 for the eggnog reception and screening and $75 for the reception, screening and dinner.
For BIFF Reel Friends, the reception and screening costs $10, and $50 for the reception, screening and dinner.
Murko is also providing attendees of the dinner a complimentary DVD copy of the show and a recipe booklet.
