Stockbridge: Chesterwood artist-in-residence holds open studio days

The public is invited to meet Chesterwood's 2016 artist-in-residence Sharon Bates during her Open Studio Days at Daniel Chester French's second studio, the Meadowlark, from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 24 and 25.

Bates received Chesterwood's Lillian Heller Curator's Award for her month long residency and living arrangements in the Meadowlark, a studio that was later converted into a cottage by French's daughter, Margaret French Cresson.

The program is free of charge. Register at the admissions desk prior to attending the program or call 413-298-2023 to pre-register. Directions to the studio will be provided.
