Stockbridge: Community Preservation Committee to hold public hearing


The Stockbridge Community Preservation Committee will hold a public informational hearing at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, in the Community Room at Town Hall.

The Committee will invite comments on the needs, possibilities and resources of the town regarding community preservation. It will also answer questions on its mission, guidelines and the protocol for submitting proposals.

The Stockbridge Community Preservation budget for Fiscal 2017 has been estimated at $285,000, with funds collected by the town combined with available state funds.

Copies of the Stockbridge Community Preservation Committee Request for Proposals and submission guidelines may be obtained at Selectman's office at Town Hall or on the town's website,
