Stockbridge: Festival Chorus to begin holiday concert rehearsals

The Stockbridge Festival Chorus will begin rehearsals at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16, to prepare for its annual Holiday Concert. All rehearsals will take place every week from 1 to 3 p.m. in the sanctuary of First Congregational Church on Main Street.

The Holiday Concert will take place in the church on Saturday, Dec. 8, at 5 p.m.

The Stockbridge Festival Chorus is a 65-voice community chorus conducted by Tracy Wilson and accompanied by Lee Dixon on piano. The Rev. Timothy Weisman is the concert organist.

Interested singers are encouraged to come to the first rehearsal to register, pay dues and collect music packets. Late registrations are being accepted through Oct. 7.

Dues for the season are $30 to cover the cost of the music and concert expenses.
