Stockbridge: Information session on library renovation project


The public is invited to attend an information session about the planned renovation and revitalization of the Stockbridge Library at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 29. The session will take place at the library, located at 46 Main St.

Gary Corey, principal architect, president of Centerline Architects, will present the architectural plans for the library’s renovation and answer questions. He will be joined by Starbuck Smith, head of the library’s building committee, who has been involved in the planning phase of the project for the past three years.

Library Director Katie O’Neil and Curator Barbara Allen will also be present to answer questions about the impact of the renovation on museum and library services and activities.

A second public information session will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, as part of the Stockbridge Library Association’s annual meeting.
