Stockbridge: Library offers series on Stockbridge homes


The Stockbridge Library’s Museum & Archives will present the second program in its series, "Behind the Closed Doors: At Home in Stockbridge," at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, in the Bement Room at the Library.

The series features current Stockbridge homeowners talking about the families who lived in their houses before them.

On Tuesday, "Two Homey Estates" will take a look inside Ingleside and the Tappan Estate. Susan Coles, researcher and volunteer in the Museum & Archives, also will discuss how Shadowbrook has transformed over the years.

Remaining programs in the series include "Stockbridge Suburbs" on Tuesday, March 4, and "High Style in the 18th Century" on Tuesday, April 1.
