Stockbridge: Library to participate in World Book Night

The Stockbridge Library Association is one of the 2,300 bookstores and libraries across America supporting World Book Night on Wednesday, April 23, Shakespeare’s birthday. On this night, thousands of free, specially printed paperbacks will be given to light or non-readers.

The Stockbridge Library Association serves as a community base for local givers, receiving the books that they will be giving out and providing useful resources. In addition, from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, library staff will hand out 20 copies of "The Zookeeper’s Wife" by Diane Ackerman.
