Stockbridge: Nurseryman to lecture at Rock Garden Society meeting

The Berkshire Chapter North American Rock Garden Society will present two free lectures at its open meeting Saturday, March 1, at the Berkshire Botanical Garden’s Exhibit Hall.

Lectures include "Propagation" at 10:30 a.m. and "Magical Witches of Winter; A Closer Look at the Genus Hamamelis" at 1 p.m.

Both lectures will be presented by Adam Wheeler, manager of plant propagation/development and container production at Broken Arrow, the Hamden, Conn., nursery specializing in rare and unusual garden plants.

The morning session begins with coffee and conversation at 10 a.m. Lunch is bring-your-own.
