Stockbridge: Pit bulls are subject of Kennel Club meeting
The Great Barrington Kennel Club will present "Why I love pit bulls" at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, at the Stockbridge Grange, 51 Church St.
The Club’s May program features a "double header." Guests include Bonnie Bassis of Place for Us and Cydney Cross of Out of the Pits of Albany, N.Y.
Bassis takes in dogs from local shelters and prepares them to be placed on the active list for adoption.
Out of the Pits seeks to make the public aware that the pit bull is an intelligent, loving and loyal breed.
GBKC meetings are open to the general public.
