Stockbridge: Real estate bills due May 1

The Tax Collector for the town of Stockbridge has announced the second half fiscal 2014 Real Estate and Personal Property tax bills were mailed March 27. Payments must be received in the Collector’s office before May 1. Payments received after that date will accrue 14 percent interest.

Failure to receive a bill does not affect the validity of the tax or interest/penalties incurred due to late payments. It is the responsibility of the taxpayer to secure his or her tax bill when one is not received.

Payments can be made online at, by mail to Collector, P.O. Box 417, Stockbridge, MA 01262 or in person. Make checks payable to: Town of Stockbridge.

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call the office at (413) 298-4170, ext. 253, if a bill was not received.
