Students named to fall semester dean’s lists
Eric Bliss, son of Albert and Aileen Bliss of West Stockbridge, participated in the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine’s White Coat Ceremony on Dec. 1, 2012. The ceremony formally recognizes the transition students make from lay persons to those assuming the responsibility of physicians.
Bliss is a member of the Class of 2014 at veterinary college located in Ithaca, N.Y.
Shelby M. Sebring, the daughter of Barry and Tamala Sebring of Lanesborough, has been named to Randolph-Macon Academy’s president’s list for the first quarter of the 2012-13 school year. Only students with a 4.0 and above are named to the president’s list.
Shelby is a sophomore at Randolph-Macon, a college-preparatory boarding school in Front Royal, Va., for students in grades 6 through 12.
Stephanie VanBramer, daughter of Thomas and Sandra VanBramer, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts with a grade point average of 3.9. She is a junior majoring in art.
Deena Bak ‘13, daughter of Richard Bak of Lanesborough and Terry Bak of Cheshire, has been named to the dean’s list in her fall semester at Williams College. Dean’s list requires a grade point average of 3.5 and above.
Antara Nader, the daughter of Geoff Nader of Glendale and Lucy Holland of Lenox, has been named to the dean’s list of Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn., for academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2012-13 school year. Dean’s list requires a semester grade point average of at least 3.75.
A graduate of Monument Mountain Regional High School in Great Barrington, Nader was a sophomore at Macalester last fall.
St. Anselm College in Manchester, N.H., has named the following students to its dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester:
Charles J. Dooley of Pittsfield, a member of the class of 2016, is a chemistry major.
Martha L. Horton of Pittsfield, a member of the class of 2015, is undeclared.
Brian A. Salvie of Pittsfield, a member of the class of 2016, is a biology major.
Jillian E. Tonelli of Cummington, a member of the class of 2013, is a communication major.
Dean’s list requires a grade point average of 3.0 or better.
Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y., has named the following students to its dean’s list for the 2012 fall semester:
Daniel B. Baer, son of Elizabeth Baer of Lenox and Mark Wilson of South Yarmouth. Baer, a sophomore, is a graduate of Lenox Memorial High School.
Sirianna L. Santacrose, daughter of Karen McWilliams of Williamstown and Stephen Santacrose. Santacrose, a sophomore, is a graduate of Emma Willard School.
Dean’s list requires an average of 3.5 or above.
