Symanski leads Pittsfield girls lacrosse to win
DALTON -- Victoria Symanski's fourth goal of the game capped a five-goal comeback in the second half for Pittsfield's girls lacrosse team in a 6-5 victory over Wahconah.
Wahconah (2-2) got a pair of first-half goals from Alex Keator en route to a 4-1 halftime lead.
"We're not coming out at halftime strong," said Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj. "We need to fix that."

Lee 17, Hoosac Valley 11
CHESHIRE -- Wild isn't a strong enough word to describe the Hurricanes' game with the Lee Wildcats. In a game riddled with scoring surges, it was the Wildcats that received the last push, scoring six straight in the final 11 minutes, 49 seconds to win 17-11.
The Hurricanes scored six straight of their own to erase a 10-4 deficit early in the second half. Maeve Denning and Molly O'Dowd each had two goals in the surge to tie the game at 10.
After the teams traded goals, the Wildcats went on a tear. Moriah McKenna and Lydia Graham each scored a pair of goals and Megan Gaul scored her game-high sixth goal to push Lee way out in front.
McKenna finished with five goals, Graham had three and Alyssa Kelly had two. Denning, O'Dowd and Jaci Aubin all had hat tricks for Drury.
Kelsey Hosley made 12 saves for Hoosac, while Anna Fraser needed just 8 for the win for Lee.

BELCHERTOWN -- Belchertown freshman Emma Jopson matched Mount Greylock's goals all by herself, but got plenty of help. Chloe Zinter and Brea Allen added three each for the Orioles, while Kate Bowers and Natalie Caney scored twice apiece. No other information was available.
Miss Hall's 6, MacDuffie 1
GRANBY -- Miss Hall's won three of four singles matches and swept the doubles on a day where each match consisted of nine-game pro sets.
Dalton's Harnoor Mann didn't lose a game in a 9-0 win over Sky Pornapat at No. 1 singles for Miss Hall's, and Lenox's Anna Boyd beat Emelia Boyko 9-3 at No. 2 singles.
