Teen shot in Mass. road rage incident
MERRIMAC, Mass. (AP) -- A pregnant teenager has been shot in Merrimac in what state police say was an apparent road rage incident.
The Boston Herald reports that the unidentified 16-year-old expectant mother was taken to a hospital in Newburyport. Police say she was shot in the arm and that the injury is not life-threatening.
State police said they are looking for a white Honda Accord with tinted windows and a red, white and blue registration plate.
The shot was apparently fired shortly after noon on Sunday on Route 495 north in Merrimac.
Police say other occupants of the teen's car blamed road rage on the shooting. No other details were immediately available.
