The Forum: Area colleges to present financial aid nights
The financial aid offices of Berkshire Community College, Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and Williams College and others will present Berkshire County high school financial aid programs for the coming months.
Program highlights will include: a discussion of financial aid concepts, the application and delivery process, an update of federal, state and college financial aid programs and an in-depth review of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and PROFILE application forms.
Parents and students are welcome to attend any program that fits their schedule. Each program lasts approximately 90 minutes.
Dec. 2: Ann Murtagh Gitto of Vassar College will present at 6:30 p.m. at Monument Mountain Regional High School in Great Barrington; Anne Moore and Kerri Trautman of BCC will present at 6 p.m. at Taconic High School in Pittsfield; Courtney Hatch Blauvelt and Paul Boyer of Williams will present at 6:30 p.m. at Wahconah Regional High School.
Dec. 3: Williams' Betsy Hobson and BCC's Kerri Trautman will speak at 6 p.m. at Pittsfield High School.
Dec. 7: Anne Moore of BCC will talk at 6:30 p.m. at Lee High School.
Dec. 8: MCLA's Lori Keating will present at 6 p.m. at Hoosac Valley High School in Cheshire; Williams' Ann Lundhild and Betsy Hobson will present at 6:30 at Mount Greylock Regional High School in Williamstown.
Dec. 9: Bard College at Simon's Rock representative Ellen Mammen will present at 5 p.m. at Mount Everett Regional High School in Sheffield.
Dec. 16: Carrie Alibozek of MCLA will talk at 5:30 p.m. at McCann Technical School in North Adams.
Jan. 9: Paul Boyer of Williams will speak at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph Central High School in Pittsfield.
