"Elemental Connections" is an art exhibit that features nine seniors from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, including: Kayleigh Brand, Justine Curley, Aria Hatfield, William Raymond, Georgia Costigan, Marli LaGrone, Amy Modesti, Steph VanBramer and Jessica Lynn. An opening reception, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 5 to 7 tonight at MCLA’s Gallery 51 on Main Street in North Adams. Over the next two weekends, Town Players of Pittsfield will present the fully staged comedy "Months on End," written by Craig Pospisil and directed by Kevin Paul Wixsom.
Follow the intertwined worlds of a circle of friends and family whose lives are poised between happiness and heartbreak through dating, breakups and marriage.
Performances will be at the Whitney Center for the Arts, 42 Wendell Ave., in Pittsfield at 8 p.m. this Friday and Saturday, and again Saturday, May 3, and at 2 p.m. this Sunday and Sunday, May 4. The Zink & Co. Concert Series will be humming and strumming away from 3 to 10 p.m. this Saturday at the ITAM Lodge, 22 Waubeek Road, in Pittsfield. Doors open at 2 p.m.
Emcee Donnie Sprague will call the bands, which include: Old Country Road (3 p.m.), Zink & Co. (4 p.m.), and country line dancing to the band County Line from 6 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $15 per person for the full event, $7 after 6 p.m., for the dance only. Food will be available to purchase until 6 p.m. The bar will be open all day.

BerkshireJazz is celebrating Jazz Appreciation Month with a Spring Jazz Crawl this weekend in downtown Pittsfield.
Friday’s lineup includes: The Max Weiner Trio, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Mission Bar & Tapas; the Sherri Buxton Trio, 6 to 9 p.m. at Baba Louie’s; Jeff Link Trio from 6 to 9 p.m. at J. Allen’s Clubhouse Grill; Rob Fisch and Dan Broad play from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Shiro Sushi Lounge; Mark Papas Jazz Trio plays 9 to 11 p.m. at The Lantern.
On Saturday: Ella and the Seniors play from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Mission; Dave Bartley plays from 6 to 9 p.m. at House of India; Gypsy Jazz Ambassadors play 7 to 10 p.m. at Spice Dragon; Woody Strobeck plays Mad Jack’s BBQ from 7 to 10 p.m., then starting at 10 p.m., Spice Dragon will host an open jazz jam session.
Pianist Armen Donelian rolls out his new double CD with a performance at 4 p.m. Sunday at Castle Street Café in Great Barrington. He’ll perform with Dave Clark on bass and George Schuller on drums. A $20 ticket includes a champagne reception and CD signing.
