Those meddling fact-checkers
While, at 90 years of age, a veteran of WW II, and still trying to figure out why kamikaze pilots wore helmets, I am amazed by some of the letters written to The Eagle -- Wally Boyer on Monday, for example. ("Ignorance is bliss for Obama voters.")
He claimed the election "fact checkers," such as the prestigious Annenberg Public Policy Center, merely accepted the opinions of others on face value and are therefore to be taken with a grain of salt. The inference seems to be that he, alone, knows truth. Should Mr. Boyer be awarded the prized "Dilbert Award" for 2012? I think so.
