Three arrested in drug raid at North Adams apartment
NORTH ADAMS — Three have been arrested on drug charges, following an early morning raid of a Bracewell Avenue apartment.
Fantasia Segar and Naim Moore, both of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Merredith Futrell, of North Adams, were taken into custody following the 2:40 a.m. execution of a search warrant, according to North Adams Police.
The search turned up about 13.1 grams of crack cocaine separated into 26 individual packages, about 22.8 grams of MDMA, or ecstasy, and $1,320 in cash, which police believe are drug sale proceeds.
All three have been charged with possession of a Class B drug (crack cocaine) with intent to distribute, trafficking in a Class B substance (MDMA) and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
The investigation was conducted by the Berkshire County Drug Task force made up of members of the Massachusetts State Police, Berkshire County Sheriff's Office and Dalton and North Adams police departments.
