Tickets remain for Guitar Jam V in Pittsfield tonight

PITTSFIELD -- Tickets can still be purchased for Guitar Jam V, which will be held tonight at 8 at the Colonial Theatre.

The fifth-anniversary show, presented by The Eagle, will feature four local bands or artists -- the Arthur Holmes Blues Band, solo blues guitarist Robin O'Herin, country singer/songwriter Bobby Sweet, and Steve Ide, voted the best guitarist in the Berkshires in an Eagle readers' poll before Guitar Jam I in 2009.

Tickets for tonight's show are $17 and $27 and are available at the Colonial box office (10 a.m. to 8 p.m.) or via (413) 997-4444 or the Berkshire Theatre Group's ticket link at bit.ly/13McyzG.

Proceeds will benefit Newspapers in Education, which supplies newspapers to area classrooms. Also, an Android tablet will be given away at intermission, and Lenox folk band Mountain Breeze will perform a free show in the lobby from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
