Town Players of Pittsfield: ‘Carnage’ reading slated

PITTSFIELD -- Town Players of Pittsfield will present a staged reading of Yasmina Reza’s "God of Carnage" at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Whitney Center for the Arts, 42 Wendell Ave. Matt Barbas is directing.

In this 2009 Tony Award-winning play, a playground altercation between two 11-year-old boys brings together two sets of Brooklyn parents for a meeting to resolve the matter.

This production contains strong language.

The cast members are Brian Plankey, Diedre Bollinger, Doug MacDonald and Jamie Trie.

Nancy Shaffer is narrator.
