Toy fund raises $580

LEE — The Laliberte Toy Fund has received additional gifts totaling $580. To date, the fund has raised $1,560 toward this year's goal of $8,400.

The late Ed Laliberte, a longtime Lee police officer, established the toy fund in 1958. The fund serves children in Lee, Lenox Dale and Tyringham.

Donations to the Laliberte Toy Fund can be mailed to P.O. Box 21, South Lee, MA 01260, or dropped off at the Lee Emergency Dispatch Center in the basement of town hall. Donations will be accepted through Jan. 1.
