Two arrested in North Adams drug bust


NORTH ADAMS >> Two city residents were arrested early Thursday morning following the execution of a search warrant on West Main Street.

According to North Adams police, Darryl Boutin and Tenisha Bessette, no ages available, were both charged with one count each of manufacture of a Class A substance, to wit, heroin; and possession of a Class B substance, cocaine.

Officers, as well as members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force, executed the search warrant on Thursday at the West Main apartment and found heroin, cocaine, a large amount of cash and what police described as "drug distribution paraphernalia."

The two will be arraigned at a later date.
