BURLINGTON, VT. >> A Vermont city has billed Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's campaign for expenses incurred from a rally held there last month.
The Burlington Free Press reports (http://bfpne.ws/1VJW0yD ) Burlington on Monday sent invoices totaling nearly $8,500 to Trump's campaign headquarters in New York.
The expenses include a more than $7,000 bill from the police department and $1,260 from the fire department.
Trump spoke at the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts on Jan. 7. Records show police chief Brandon del Pozo dispatched 33 officers to provide security inside the center.
