Vermont State Police seize 77 bags of heroin at Arlington, Vt. traffic stop
ARLINGTON, VT. — State Police seized 77 bags of heroin from an Arlington man they pulled over Wednesday on Route 7A.
According to Trooper Lucas Hall, at 5:40 p.m. a vehicle driven by Michael T. Crawford, 31, was stopped for a traffic violation. Police suspected there were drugs in the vehicle and searched it. According to troopers, Crawford bought the heroin in Holyoke, Mass. and had come to Arlington to sell it. He was held at the Rutland jail for lack of $5,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in Vermont Superior Court Criminal Division Bennington Unit on drug charges.
