WAM Theatre reading slated
WEST STOCKBRIDGE -- WAM Theatre will present a reading of "Seven Homeless Mammoths Wander New England" 3 p.m. Sunday at at No. Six Depot Roastery and Café, 6 Depot St.
This is the fourth presentation in the new Fresh Takes play reading series, which offers new and reimagined works that tell women’s stories.
The cast features Alika Hope, Melissa Wolff, Samantha Cullen, Thom Whaley, Lily Cardaropoli, and Shayne Peris.
Central Square Theater artistic associate Megan Sandberg Zakian will direct the reading.
"Seven Homeless Mammoths Wander New England" is described as "an academic sex comedy" that focuses on the lives of three women in a college town in New England.
The play premiered at Two River Theatre Company in 2011.
