Washington: Woodworkers Guild scholarships available

The Berkshire Woodworkers Guild is accepting scholarship applications from young people pursuing an education in woodworking, cabinetmaking, furnituremaking, or architecture.

Preference is given to applicants from Berkshire County and the neighboring region who are enrolled in a long-term continuous program that leads to certification or a degree in one of these fields.

Applicants should be between 16 and 25 years of age. The maximum amount of each scholarship is $500.

The application deadline for the current year is April 1.

Details of the program and applications guidelines and form are available on the Berkshire Woodworkers Guild website at www.berkshirewoodworkers.org, or by contacting Will Beemer at (413) 623-6677, email willb@heartwoodschool.com.

The Berkshire Woodworkers Guild is a group of professionals who live and work in the Berkshire area.
