West Lebanon, N.Y.: Nostalgia Drags car show slated for Oct. 7

Wednesday October 3, 2012

The Capital Area Rods’ annual Fall Nostalgia Drags, car show and swap meet, rained out Sunday, Sept. 30, has been rescheduled for Sunday, Oct. 7, at Lebanon Valley Dragway, Route 20 West.

The club is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year.

The region’s largest nostalgia drag event historically draws 300-plus show cars for awards judging and hundreds of drag cars dating to the 1920s from all over New York, New England, New Jersey and Long Island.

Concurrent with the races and car show, the club also sponsors a track-side swap meet featuring everything from the smallest part and auto memorabilia to parts-to-whole street and race cars.

Gates open at 8 a.m. Car registration for judging ends at noon. The awards and winner parade starts at 3 p.m.

Racing all day starts at 10 a.m. The fee is $10 per person.
