Humans fight back
"Oblivion," rated PG-13, stars Tom Cruise as one of the last humans left on a devastated Earth in 2073 -- 60 years after an alien invasion -- who, together with a human he rescues from a crashed spaceship, aims to overhrow the planet's conquerors.
Opening Friday at Beacon Cinema in Pittsfield, Berkshire Mall Cinema 10 in Lanesborough and North Adams Movieplex 8.
WCMA at Night, an ongoing after-hours social and art event takes off at 5 p.m. tonight at the Williams College Museum of Art.
It features performances by slam poet Kit Yan, a Polaroid photo booth, food, drink, and a pop-up photo show by Kate Flanagan, Williams ‘14.
Kit Yan tells stories through slam poetry from the lens of a queer and transgender Asian American from Hawaii who travels all over the world on tour.
