Williamstown: 9/11 subject of Williams College colloquium
The International Studies Colloquium at Williams College begins Sept. 11 with a discussion of "Global Perspectives on 9/11" at 2:45 p.m. in Hopkins Hall, room 002.
This colloquium is the first in a series of discussions hosted by the International Studies Program throughout the fall semester.
The speakers include Annie Reinhart, associate professor of history; Janneke van de Stadt, associate professor of Russian; Anand Swamy, professor of economics; and Michael MacDonald, Frederick L. Schuman professor of international relations.
Additional programs in September include "Crossing Borders. The Challenges of Migration" on Sept. 18, and "Arab Women Writers in the World Market: the Politics and Ethics of Translation" on Sept. 25.
All discussions will begin at 2:45 p.m. in Hopkins Hall, room 002. These events are all free and open to the public.
