Williamstown: Annual Town Election nomination papers available

Nomination papers are currently available in the town clerk's office for the May 10 Annual Town Election.

The following seats will be on the ballot:

Moderator, one three-year term; Selectmen, two three-year terms; Elementary School Committee, two three-year terms; Library Trustees, four three-year terms and one two-year term; Housing Authority, one five-year term and one three-year term; Planning Board, one five-year term and one two-year term; and Northern Berkshire Vocational Regional School Committee, one three-year term.

Candidates can pick up papers in the town clerk's office from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Candidates must obtain a minimum of 28 signatures of registered voters in order to be placed on the ballot.

Completed nomination papers must be filed with the Board of Registrars no later Tuesday, March 22.
