Wild Oats Market is hosting an informal talk on how to reduce heating bills and still stay warm from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12. The co-op is located at 320 Main St.

Cynthia Grippaldi from the Center for EcoTechnology in Pittsfield will share various ways to make a home more energy efficient, including insulation, air sealing and economical alternatives to window replacement.

She will also discuss ice dams and how to reduce their occurrence through more efficient home energy solutions.

Workshop participants will learn about financial incentives currently available to achieve these goals; bring an electric bill and sign up for New England Green Start.

This workshop is free and open to all.

To register, contact CET at (413) 445-4556 or Wild Oats Market at (413) 458-8060, or sign up at the Wild Oats customer service counter.
