Williamstown: Chorale celebrates contemporary Jewish music

The Northern Berkshire Chorale, directed by Andrea Goodman, will present its winter concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, in Chapin Hall on the Williams College campus.

The program is made up of a diverse collection of music arranged by contemporary Jewish composers, including Charles Osbourne, Kurt Weill, Charles Davidson and Leonard Bernstein.

The 30-voice chorale will be joined by soloists Robert Sherr and Robert Szczepaniak and the performance is sponsored by Y’diyah Memorial Fund, a Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation Fund and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation.

Suggested donation for adults is $10, students $5.
