Williamstown: Clark Art hosting storytelling contest

The Clark Art Institute, in conjunction with Pastor Mark Longhurst of First Congregational Church of Williamstown, will present a "story slam" at 7 p.m. Friday, July 22.

The free event will be held on the Moltz Terrace of the Lunder Center at Stone Hill on the Clark's campus. The event celebrates the Clark's exhibition, "Sensing Place: Reflecting on Stone Hill."

Stories about the place called home, a particularly meaningful place, or moments of feeling in place, out of place, or displaced are all welcome.

The names of those interested in sharing place-related stories are chosen at random. Stories may be up to five minutes in duration. Judges provide feedback and prizes are awarded.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Information: www.clarkart.edu.
