Williamstown: Clark Art workshop explores body image

Explore the splendor of the female form and cast aside rigid perceptions of beauty with "The Myth of the Perfect Body: Love Yours," an all-day workshop for women of all ages from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Clark Art Institute in the Michael Conforti Pavilion.

Jane Shiyah and artist Berni McMahon lead the program, which includes an exploration of the summer exhibition, "Splendor, Myth, and Vision," and a discussion of body image in the lives of women from both historical and personal viewpoints.

Tuition is $120, $90 for Clark members, and includes a full body cast for all participants, admission to the galleries, and all art-making materials.

To register, visit clarkart.edu or call 413-458-0524. Bring a brown bag lunch or purchase a meal at Café 7.
