Williamstown: Clark to host free harp concert
Harpsichordist Victor Hill will present a free concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute. The concert is free and open to the public.
Hill’s program of Johan Sebastian Bach pieces includes Toccata in C minor, BWV 911; Partita 1 in B-flat major, BWV 825; Partita 2 in C minor, BWV 826; and Toccata in D major, BWV 912.
Hill, a professor of mathematics at Williams College for 40 years, plays the double-manual harpsichord of 18th-century design that was custom built for him.
