Williamstown: Documentary on factory towns to air

Images Cinema will screen "Farewell to Factory Towns," a documentary about North Adams and its struggle to find economic stability since de-industrialization, at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12.

The film’s director, Maynard Seider, a retired MCLA professor, will introduce the film.

The film will be followed by a panel discussion by community organizers Dick Dassatti, Stewart Burns, and state Rep. Gail Cariddi.

Admission to the film is free. The film is sponsored by the Davis Center of Williams College, as part of the Social Change Film Series.

Images Cinema is located at 50 Spring St.
