Williamstown: Fundraisers to benefit youth boxing program

Posted

Becky and Caleb Miner of Miner Combat Fitness announce fundraisers to benefit their new community outreach program, Minor's Combat, a youth boxing program.

Minor's Combat will launch in February with a four day "camp" for ages 8 to 14 during the school break.

A "celebrity" bartending event will begin at 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, at Hops & Vines. The Miners will be serving up drinks and all tips will benefit the program.

Progressive Palette will offer a Valentine-themed painting party from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at The Orchards.

Raffle tickets for a $500 gift certificate are on sale at Jack's Hot Dog Stand in North Adams.

Proceeds from the fundraisers will be used for scholarships and youth equipment.

For more information, contact Becky Miner at 413-663-0225, Caleb Miner at 413-652-4563 or visit Minor's Combat on Facebook.
