Williamstown: Harpsichordist to perform free recital

Renowned harpsichordist Victor Hill will present a free solo recital at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute. Admission is free.

Among Hill’s musical selections are J.S. Bach’s Toccata in E minor and works of Jacques Duphly and Domenico Scarlatti.

Hill was professor of mathematics at Williams College for 40 years. He studied the harpsichord in Amsterdam with the noted Dutch harpsichordist Gustav Leonhardt and has played more than 900 concerts throughout the United States and in Europe,
