Williamstown: Holiday workshop offered at Sheep Hill

The Williamstown Rural Lands Foundation will hold a Holiday Traditions Workshop on Sunday, Dec. 9, from 12:30 to 5 p.m. at its Sheep Hill headquarters.

Yorkshire, England, native and Williamstown resident Gerry Leamon will demonstrate how to make miniature mince pies.

Following the pie demonstration, artist Julia Morgan-Leamon will show how to craft heirloom stockings from felt, fabric, trim, beads, buttons and charms.

Materials are provided, but participants may bring their own special findings to create one-of-a kind stockings.

The $60 fee includes instruction, materials and mini-pie samples.

Space is limited. The workshop is by registration only by calling (413) 458-2494 or emailing ruraland@wrlf.org.

Sheep Hill is located on Route 7 south, approximately one mile south of the rotary.
