Williamstown: Items needed for hurricane victims

Wednesday November 14, 2012

Many Hurricane Sandy victims are still without electricity and heat.

Community Bible Church is making a second trip to help supply "Metro Ministries," which has provided relief services to over 6,000 people. They go into the poorest neighborhoods not yet serviced by other organizations.

Donations of blankets (not electric), food, bottled water, candles, flashlights and batteries are needed.

Donations may be brought to Community Bible Church, 160 Bridges Road, from 2 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16. A van will be driving to New York City on Saturday, Nov. 17, to deliver all donations.
